Terms of Service

Article 1 (Scope)

These Terms of Service ("these Terms") set out the conditions for using the iOS app ERC Calculator and this website (together, "the service") provided by [事業者名] ("we", "us"). By using the service you agree to these Terms.

Article 2 (The service)

The service issues a security unlock code ("unlock code") based on the model number and serial number you enter for your navigation unit. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with Toyota Motor Corporation or its affiliates.

Article 3 (Fees and payment)

Issuing an unlock code is a paid service. Prices are shown inclusive of tax in the app and on this website.

Payment is made through Apple's in-app purchase system and is subject to Apple's terms. We do not receive your card details.

Article 4 (Refunds)

Refunds are reviewed and processed by Apple, and the decision is Apple's. We cannot issue refunds directly.

We will help you with the refund request and answer your questions until Apple reaches a decision.

Article 5 (Your responsibilities)

You may use the service only for a navigation unit you are lawfully entitled to use.

You are responsible for entering the model and serial number correctly. We are not liable where an unlock code fails because of an input error.

Article 6 (Prohibited conduct)

You must not:

1. Use the service on a stolen unit or any unit you are not entitled to use
2. Analyse, modify or reverse engineer the service
3. Place an excessive load on our servers, including through automated bulk requests
4. Resell or otherwise supply issued unlock codes to third parties for payment
5. Act in breach of law or public order and morals
6. Act in any other way we reasonably consider inappropriate

Article 7 (Disclaimer)

We do not warrant that an unlock code will work on every navigation unit. Unlocking may fail because of a hardware fault, an internal memory problem, the condition of the SD card, battery voltage or other factors.

Except in cases of our wilful misconduct or gross negligence, we are not liable for damage arising from use of the service. Where we are liable, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the unlock code concerned.

The preceding paragraph does not apply where our liability cannot be excluded or limited under the Consumer Contract Act or other applicable law.

Article 8 (Changes and suspension)

We may change, suspend or discontinue all or part of the service without prior notice where necessary for maintenance, in the event of a fault, or for other unavoidable reasons.

Article 9 (Intellectual property)

All intellectual property rights in the service, including its software, design and text, belong to us or the rightful owners. Product names and model numbers referred to are trademarks or registered trademarks of their respective owners, used only to identify compatible units.

Article 10 (Changes to these Terms)

We may amend these Terms in accordance with the standard form contract provisions of the Civil Code. We will publish the amended Terms and their effective date on this website.

Article 11 (Governing law and jurisdiction)

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any dispute relating to the service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the district court having jurisdiction over [所在地] as the court of first instance.
